free to tie one on

Ken Wayland may have a lot of ties, but he's a business casual kind of guy, too. After all, the culture he's created here at FAM is anything but formal. With over 25 years in "the biz," Ken has had lots of opportunities to see what works and what doesn't. So when he and Carl started FAM, Ken thought back to the coaches that shaped him as a young man—guys who could motivate, played hard (but fair) and had a passion for winning. Their inspiration is what drove Ken to be the leader and client advocate he is today as president of FAM. So it's no surprise that we all look up to Ken the same way he did to his mentors. It's hard not to—as Ken loves what he does, where he does it and whom he does it with. Maybe even more than he loves his tie collection.
