New Creative Team at FAM Has National Success Record
Team responsible for Circuit City's "firedog" brand

RICHMOND, Va. (May 2008) – After seven years of hiring "free agents" for creative design and branding, Free Agents Marketing (www.freeagentsmarketing.com) has hired an in–house creative team–one with a national reputation.

Led by Laura Wagner, creative director, the three–person team also includes art directors Suzanne McClellan and Todd Williams. All three were part of the creative team at Richmond–based Circuit City Stores. While at Circuit City, Wagner led the brand development for the company's "firedog" brand. Firedog is one of Circuit City's most recognizable and successful brands.

"We are thrilled to have lured such a creative–and successful–team to Free Agents," said Ken Wayland, president of Free Agents Marketing. "We have grown significantly during the past two years, and an in–house creative team was an element we needed to bring our clients the benefits of a full–service advertising, public relations and marketing agency."

Free Agents Marketing opened its doors in 2001 on the premise that the three original principals would pull in "free agents" to meet client needs relative to advertising, media buying, marketing, public relations and event management.

"The success and growth of the agency is a result of the success and growth of our clients," Wayland said. "Such growth requires dedicated resources to exceed client needs. We continue to rely on lots of free agent talent so the premise on which the company was formed continues to exist."
