FAM announces new hires and promotions
Free Agents Marketing is pleased to announce that Kelly Woody has been promoted to account executive. Kelly knows FAM better than just about anyone, having worked in traffic, production and account services for multiple clients, including Bon Secours and Farmer's Bank. She even had a stint in our Hampton Roads office, and returned to her native Richmond this fall. As an account executive, Kelly works with our clients to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance their reputations and positively impact their bottom lines. Kelly has a bachelor's in communications with a minor in public relations from Virginia Tech.
Glenn Childress has been promoted to director of business development. With a strong track record in sales for the hospitality industry, Glenn's goal is to pull together FAM's offerings across the marketing matrix to strengthen and enhance new and existing client relationships. A Marine who served as part of the invading force in Iraq in 2003, Glenn continues to support his fellow veterans through the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America and the Wounded Warrior Project. An avid runner, Glenn ran the Marine Corps Marathon this year to support Fisher House, a nonprofit that provides lodging to veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers. Glenn is also a member of the Henrico Business Leaders and Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.
Marisa Norona has joined Free Agents Marketing as public relations account coordinator. With a B.A. in English from the University of the South and experience as an advertising production coordinator at Richmond Magazine, Marisa has jumped right into account work with the public relations team. As account coordinator, she handles writing, media relations and social media, and she supports the development of messaging and strategy for FAM clients.
